This was a test cross to see of yellow tetraploids would let the coerulea color form come through using one of our tetraploid Equalaceas. Unfortunately all of these bloomed out orange/red, but it is a nice cross for those that are interested in this type of breeding.

This was a test cross to see of yellow tetraploids would let the coerulea color form come through using one of our tetraploid Equalaceas. Unfortunately all of these bloomed out orange/red, but it is a nice cross for those that are interested in this type of breeding.
It's possible these might be useful for future coerulea crosses if they were bred back to another coerulea from an indigo line. So it might be a fun project for someone that wants to experiment with coerulea breeding.
The are large robust plants in 4" pots.
